MVP App – UX Design

THEIR CHALLENGE

Mavencery (MVP) is a US based, grocery price comparison application designed for iPhone and Android devices.

The goals of the project are to create an easy-to-use application that allows users to provide total cart cost for grocery list based on users location. Remove the need for coupon clipping and offer the ability to share and edit grocery list with the same household.

Our Solution

We started creating two user persona’s – our target audience is adults aged between 20 – 45 who generally do the grocery shopping for their household. Most people in this age group use smartphones and have knowledge of Online Shopping. We then went on and created user empathy maps to get inside the mind of two distinctive types of grocery shoppers.

UX DESIGN + PROTOTYPE

Keeping the application slim and eliminating the need to navigate through multiple screens, simplifying the user experience.

Users can look for groceries by broad product categories such as “chips,” specific brand names such as “Pringles,” or by scanning the product barcode with their smartphone.
